There was an Easter basket filled with little candies, hard boiled colored eggs (wait, those look just like the ones Jerry made, but oh well), jelly beans, and little Godiva chocolates! We were so excited (and you can see in our Photo that Jerry is digging right into the basket while Ben is looking for the Belgian chocolates). The metal white bunny sits in our garden during the summer, and Ben received the stuffed bunny toy a year or two ago; we just added them to this photo to make it look more festive.
But there was more! The Easter Bunny must have heard how unhappy Jerry was with the long winter that just kept lasting, and lasting, lasting, so Jerry received a special gift:
A bunch of what Jerry calls "DaffeeDills"...aren't they pretty! Jerry was beary happy.
The next day, we received a postcard from our pal Ajdin from his recent trip to Washington D.C. Thanks Ajdin!
If you have any Easter candy left over, and you need a few pals to come over and help you finish it, we will gladly volunteer!
That is a great looking easter basket. Did Ben ever find the chocolates? Where is Paddington?
ReplyDeleteBen did indeed find the chocolates Little Fox, and he even shared them...even with our human seKretaries (which was beary generous of him)! Jerry was so excited to see if there was an Easter basket hiding in the living room, that he left his stuffed Paddington toy in the bed...but never fear, he retrieved it later. Do you have any Easter candy left?

DeleteWow, you guys look great in your Easter outfits. Are you going to wear them for a little while? They must have taken a while to put on. I'd say that you should wear them for at least a week or so. Glad the postcard arrived!

DeleteGrumble grumble... Mama's laptop isn't letting us post comments for some strange reason, so I have to wait until we get home. I really love your Easter outfits and those daffy-dills must have had Jerry in a frenzy of gardening excitement! Mama says that we missed the chocolate easter bunnies this year because we were away... I don't know if I believe that!
ReplyDeleteWell Sandy, we've learned that sometimes seKretaries say their laptop isn't working but in reality they're just a little tired. We have to keep an eye on them and make sure they are going their jobs!
