Jerry wanted to go outside today and play in the snow, and so he put on his red stocking cap and mittens. Ben looked at the thermometer outside on the balcony and started to get a little worried. "Papa" he asked, "is it too kold for me and Jerrwe to gow outside and play?"
So we all checked the temperature and it was only 0 degrees Fahrenheit , and for Hammie, Sullivan and Beanie, that is -17.7 Celsius. "But" Papa added "when you add the wind chill, it really feels like -15 Fahrenheit, and for our friends in Europe, that would be -26.1 Celsius." Ben looked at Jerry and Jerry looked at Ben, and the Ben said "I think we stay inside this afernoon and mak a fun forrt out of the sopha cushions. We mak sum hot chocolate two?!" Is it cold where you live? What do you like to do when it's beary, beary cold outside?
Our thermometer is dipping tonight with dangerous wind chills. Brrrrr, but they are saying that be next week we could see 4o's! I'll believe it when I see it.

Hi guys! Thank you for visiting us at the Friendly Company of Bears and for leaving a comment. Spring is springing here in England, just a bit. We have snowdrops and crocus in flower in the garden. You still need to wrap up warm though when you go outside. You two stay cosy and safe today. xx

Ooooooh poor Jerry and Ben! here in France (near Paris) it is 8 degrees Celsius, it's almost spring! (well, almost!!)
Compared to you it's hot!
I hear the birds starting to sing, and it lifts my spirits!
