Our human companions were visiting friends and doing some wine tasting. Wine tasting didn't sound very interesting to us though, we think we should have ben able to do honey tasting! Maybe next time.
We did get to view some great sites in San Francisco including...
Some really cool cable cars!
A funny garlic restaurant (hehe)...
A beary cool pig mural in Chinatown (we took this photo for our pal Sullivan McPig)...
We also got to taste some great French pastry! Look at the huge croissant au chocolat we found at an Italian/French bakery. It was so beary yummy! We actually went back there another day to have another one!
We had a great time visiting San Francisco! When we got home, Jerry ran to check the mail, and there was a package waiting! Whom can it be from?
It's from our pal Ajdin! He recently went on a road trip and sent us some souvenirs! There was a beary cool lost bear pub, a map (in French!) of Saint Croix Island (Ben loved that!), a cool postcard of Cadillac Mountain, and sum yummy treats (already gone!). Thanks Ajdin!
Finally, a few weeks ago, Beanie sent us a roll of film and said we'd love the photos. So, Papa had them developed and they were photos from one of Beanie's trip to France! Beary nice photos Beanie, we love them!

Great trip guys! And some mail too - you are beary lucky! That chocolate croissant looks scrumptious too... Did you get to sample any crab while you were in SF?? Ah... Mama says she lived there for a year and says the pretzels at Pier 39 were super good too. Funny how these sekrebearies butt into our conversations...
ReplyDeletePretzels? Pier 39? Jerry is beary upset that we missed these. We'll have to try and taste them next time. They sound yummy!
ReplyDeleteOh dear... I won't mention the delicious crabs at Fisherman's Wharf then... And the super yummy burritos in Berkeley,,, or... how do you spell this... Ghirardelli chocolate.... Yum!
DeleteYummy! We passed by the Ghirandelli factory, but did we get to go in and get a souvenir bag of chocolates, nooooo. Jerry was not beary happy, but we did have a nice lunch, so he forgot about the chocolates.
DeleteI'm glad you got the pictures done! Figured you'd enjoy those!
ReplyDeleteWe did, thanks Beanie!
DeleteSounds like a great trip! That is a great picture of you by the Golden Gate Bridge. I wonder what was on the menu at The Stinking Rose? I'm glad the package arrived!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't look at the menu, we were in a hurry to get to the French bakery, in fact Ben was already a block ahead of everyone else!
DeletePretzels at pier 39? I would have never guessed.
ReplyDeleteMy roommates like to eat in China Town when they go to SF. I personally like the Italian North Shore myself (this Little Fox likes Garlic). Ah we haven't been there for a couple of years....maybe it's time for me to "encourage" my roommates to plan a trip. I can be a beary persistant "encourager" when I want to....
You deserve a nice little vacation little Fox! You should go on strike! hehe
DeleteExcellent idea, besides a vacation once a month I think I will ask for homemade cookies and fresh salmon every month as well.
DeleteGreat idea!
DeleteLooks like you had fun! Honey tasting is a great idea, especially when paired with cakes or cookies!
ReplyDeleteTrue Julie, honey is always a good idea!
DeleteLucky you going to San Fran. My humans love that city but have never taken me.What no honey tasting, what is the world coming to. You have some great friends sending you parcels.
