Cooking With Ben: Valentine's Cookies

Ben says "Hello blog pals and welkom to another Ben's keetchun! Today we ar makeeng Hart kookies for Valuntines Day."

Ben has already shared his recipe for sugar cookie cutouts. He used a big heart cookie cutter to make today's recipe. Jerry will help to make some butter frosting, then he will help Ben to frost and to decorate the cookies with red sprinkles! Will you do something special for Valentine's Day?

    1. My roommates are planning to prune their fruti trees tomorrow. We have plums and cherry trees to prune. I think I might take a walk in the morning before they can "recruit" me to help out with the pruning.

  4. Those cookies look beary delicious! Glad to see it’s a team effort, Ben bakes and Jerry makes the frosting. I figured Jerry would be planning the garden since Spring is just around the corner. Are you going to share any cookies with Jake or Boo?

    1. That's a great idea. I think each stuffie could make a regional dish.

    1. Thanks Birthday Bear...we'd love to have you try a cookie, but, um, well, they're already gone! Jerry looks around the room to see who might have eaten the cookies...Ben just gives him a stern look.

  8. Sorry to hear it is still cold there. You will have to do more cooking and snuggle up in front of the fire.

    1. Very true Birthday Bear. During the winter, we like to make a meal in our slow cooker. The food cooks slowly all day long and the house smells beary good! We don't have a fireplace like our pal Sandy, but we do have a fireplace DVD that works great (hehehe). When it's so cold, we do like to snuggle and watch movies, but sometimes we take winter hikes or go ice skating. Jerry is already thinking about gardening though, so let's hope spring comes quickly!
