Jerry and Ben Visit a River Town

We took a short Sunday drive to visit a river town.

Stillwater is a small town on the St. Croix river. Isn't it beautiful? The town is very historic.

The big bridge over the St. Croix river connects the state of Minnesota, where Stillwater is located, with the state of Wisconsin.

There are also lots of beary nice boats including some paddlewheel boats. They used to transport passengers and supplies up and down the river. We wonder if they also transported little bears...

Where is your favorite place to visit when you do a short weekend outing?

  2. That looks like a lovely place. We like to visit the Lake District National Park for a day out, especially in the Spring.

  3. @ Buttons, It's definitely worth a little visit, there are lots of antique stores and nice places to eat.

@ Granny K, We have not yet been to the Lake District, but perhaps on one of our future vacations. We want to go back to Bath again and see where Downton Abbey is filmed.
