Jerry said "Gosh iz that owr pal Sandy? Sandy, iz that you??? Hav yoU kom four a veezit??"
Well, it sure did look like Sandy! This little bear was wearing a green down jacket like Sandy, and a fuzzy furry cap just like Sandy, and thick and warm winter boots like Sandy.
But wait a minute, it's not Sandy, it's Ben! Ben has changed into his winter outfit because of the cold weather. "How ever will our blog pals be able to distinguish such two cute and very adorable little bears" asked Papa. Jerry looked at Papa and rolled his eyes a little, then shrugged his shoulders.
"Wate juzt a minoote" declared Jerry. "Ben iz waring his flur duh lee pin that Papa got him in Kaybeck." Ben loves things that are French, and he's trying to learn to speak a little French, so Papa got this neat blue fleur de lis pin for him in Québec.
So now that we have all that straightened out, Ben adds that it sure would be fun for him and Sandy to fool family and friends like the two twins do in the classic Disney movie Parent Trap! Jerry likes that idea very much, but Papa is not so sure it's all that funny...

Ohhh!!! That's a great posting! It's weird to see "me"... could get beary confusing. Although I have to say, Ben does look a tad slimmer than me in that outfit..
ReplyDeleteOh... for winter I wear a green down coat, grey snow pants, a fluffy hat and winter boots... I also wear that in summer... and on vacation in Mexico (hah-hah!). We don't have snow here... although rumour has it we might get some in January.
ReplyDeleteHi guys, You both look really nice in your winter gear. It rarely snows where we live, at the seaside. It does rain and blow a lot though!

ReplyDelete@ Sandy, Glad you like the post Sandy. Ben thinks it's fun that you both look similar. Ben only wears his winter clothes for a couple months or when outside in the snow though, he often changes back into his shirt, vest and tie because he likes to dress up a little.
ReplyDelete@ Granny K, Thanks Granny K. We love the seaside; you're so lucky to live near the ocean!
@ Hammie, We like to stay home too when it's snowing outside, there are lots of projects and fun things to do at home when the weather is bad.
ReplyDeleteWe really like your new 'flur duh lee' pin, Ben. And we are Amazed that you have an (almost) *twin* in 'Sandy'! BTW,Jerry– we Did Not Know that Alexander's nickname was 'Sandy'. We are sure Glad to Learn Things from you Two Wonderful Bears! Daddy says,"Think of All the Other Things that we May Not Know!" (it's a LOT!). :o)
ReplyDelete@ Ryan, Thanks Ryan! Sandy does indeed look very much like Jerry and Ben, we think he's our Canadian cousin.
ReplyDeleteHihi, this post is very funny! We also had snow the last two weeks, but mostly it felt like rain with grey sky brrrr. We decided to stay at home and starting our Christmas bakery and decorating our home. We have different warm outfits for playing in the snow
