It was a rainy day at the Cliffs of Moher, but we made the best of it! The cliffs were very tall, and a bit scary to stand right near the edge, so Papa held on to us tightly. The views were beary beautiful! Everything was so green.
It was also windy and we saw the big waves crash against the cliffs. We like the ocean since we don't get to see it very often!
Jerry was fascinated by the spectacular views; it's too bad the weather wasn't sunny.
We also got to see the Burren...it's a really big limestone formation on the west coast of Ireland. Ben wondered if there was also a lemonstone formation, but Papa said probably not. Jerry touched his tongue to the stone, and said "Yuck, this doesn't taste like lime!"
The castle at Bunratty was really big! We read that it was built on the site of a viking trading camp. Those vikings went everywhere! We asked if we could see the king and queen, but we learned they didn't live here and that it was only a museum now.
Great pictures! It makes me want to go on a journey again as well!
