Our Ireland trip ended in Dublin where we saw this awesome castle..we sure would like to climb the walls and explore the castle!
We also saw some faces carved in stone. Some of them were scary but others were beary cool.
After a traditional Irish breakfast (yummy), we strolled down the streets of Dublin and saw the famous Temple Bar, it's beary red, just like Hammie!
Ben was really excited to walk around Trinity College. There were many old buildings and statues to look at, and even though it was summer, there were lots of students walking around, but when we looked closer, we also saw lots of tourists like us!
Ben thought "Maybe I can go to school here one day when I grow up!" Ben thinks he might like to study the life of bees...he says he'd like to be a beeologist, or many a honeyologist.
Jerry and Ben watched some young kids playing football (what Americans call soccer) on the field at Trinity College. The players sure did look like they were having a fun time.
There are many beautiful churches in Dublin. We thought this photo of Christ Church looked nice with the flowers.
After a long day of visiting and walking, we enjoyed delicious fish and chips at Leo Burdock, "The best place in Dublin to get beary good fish and chips" noted Jerry. Ben agreed, "Mmbn um brm mm"..Ben was talking with his mouth full of chips, but Jerry says Ben was saying "I love these chips." We strolled along the banks of the Liffey and said goodbye to Ireland. We had a beary good trip and saw so many things. Isn't traveling bearific! Where would you like to travel next?
