A Bearthday & Bear Fashion

Ben recently celebrated a Bearthday! Jerry helped to make a delicious cake, and Ben received some wonderful Bearthday cards!

There was a neat postcard from the King Estate from Little Fox, a colorful bearthday card from Ajdin, Uncle Tibbs and Oogie, and a homemade Fleur de Lis card from Sandy (how did Sandy know that Ben likes French things?) Ben says "Thankz all for the Bearthday Weeshes!"

Now, for the BEAR FASHION SHOW...

Jerry and Ben received some wonderful new sweaters thanks to an aunty who knows how to knit. We thought it would be fun to have a beary nice Bear Fashion Show!

First up is Ben, wearing a wonderful white sweater with red stripes on the arms and a matching hat.

Next, Ben trades a white sweater for a rich chocolate brown one. See the white strips on the arm, the little white buttons, and the matching hat? Aren't they great?

"Me think they aR juzt perfect!" says Ben.

Our next model, Jerry, wears a navy blue varsity sweater.

Jerry loves the fancy stripes on the sleeve and the beary neat white buttons!

Finally, Ben models a red sweater with contrasting gray sleeves. It has attractive black buttons down the front.

The matching hat with a gray border really goes well with the entire ensemble!

For little bears, modeling sweaters and having to change clothes multiple times does take a lot of energy, so Jerry and Ben have asked for a well deserved break with hot chocolate and sugar cookies!

  1. Hmmm... my first comment seems to have vanished into cyberspace. Let's see...

Happy Bearthday Ben!! That hand-crafted card is a Beanie card - thought you would like it.

Now... does your Aunty want another nephew?? I come with impeccable credentials! Your sweaters and matching hats are amazing! Failing a nephew adoption... maybe she could share the pattern (if she even knits by patterns... some knitters are just seat-of-the-pants knitters). My Gramma knits scarves and hats and is getting bored with that... so these might be right up her alley.

    1. Thanks Sandy! We'll see what aunty can do...there isn't a pattern I think, she just made them from a bear mannequin. It's nice to have some new things...we get our clothes dirtly playing so much.

  3. Happy belated birthday Ben! I will have to update my calendar.

Those sweaters are tres chic! My human also does yarn crafts, although she lacks the patience to knit...she does crocheting instead. I think she has something special planned for me for President's Day...
