Every year around the time of the Oscars, our favorite movie channel plays lots of great old movies that won Oscar awards, "Weeth NO comsherals!" adds Jerry. On a cold winter night, there is nothing better than watching a great old movie. "Toneight we watsh Bear Hur, and the sherriot rase is ekzsiting" says Ben (Ben means the classic movie Ben Hur).
Do you have favorite old movies that you enjoy watching over and over again?
We have loads of old movies at our house, all on those DVDVDVDVD thingies!! SpartyKus is one favourite, and Sweet Smell of Success too. We're going to start doing Movie Ree Views!!
ReplyDeleteWe always watch Sound Of Music at Christmas, Jesus Christ, Superstar with Easter and Mary Poppins when the wind changes ;-)
ReplyDelete@ Beanie, We like those movies too!
ReplyDelete@ Sullivan, More great movies, we watch the Sound of Music too!
Sound of Music for sure!!! Love Actually.. Winnie the Pooh of course...
ReplyDeleteUmm... you do know that the Romans were not beary nice to bears?? Or maybe your Papa hasn't talked about that with you yet?
@ Sandy, There are some parts of movies that Papa does not let us watch, they might be about not nice things toward bears, so we find it best not to ask and to enjoy another mouthful of popcorn instead!
ReplyDeleteEvery year mom makes us watch Gone with the Breeze with her and Little Women. We moan and groan about having to watch. Don't tell her but we actually enjoy them, hummm, or was it the popcorn we enjoy most?
ReplyDeleteRight now we are watching Downton Abbey with her. Waiting and hoping for popcorn.
@ Buttons, We've seen Gone with the Breeze too, and we are also watching Upside Downton Abbey. True, the popcorn is the best part, esp. when we get sliced apples to eat alongside the popcorn, they are beary yummy together.
ReplyDelete@ Hammie, We like the Jane Erye movies too, and Ratatouille is one of our favorites!
