Jerry's Corner, episode 10

Hello stuffies everywhere! This is Jerry's Corner. I'm Ben, your guest host for today. Welcome to the show!

Jerry's Corner is a talk and information show where stuffies of all kinds from around the world can get answers to their questions, receive great advice, and enjoy helpful tips, all from Jerry...or, well, from me Ben since I'm hosting today because Jerry is busy working in the garden. Can you see Jerry hard at work among the flowers?

Well, our first question has been asked by many, but was recently asked by a viewer who says his name is Jerry...wait a minute.... Well ok, the question is: How do you attract more bees to your garden? I asked Jerry, ...hm, the same name as the person who submitted the question...that is suspicious...and Jerry says that the best way to attract more bees to your garden is to dress your dog or cat up as a bee...

Do you see Boo's bee outfit? No Boo, the delicious Starbucks iced tea is not for you. Anyway, Jerry says that the huge bee will certainly attract many bees to your garden because they will simply be in awe of the huge new bee....I'm not so sure about that, somehow that doesn't sound quite right, but oh well.

Our next question is from an anonymous reader...who apparently enjoys chocolate, because there are chocolate paw prints on the question card...and...strange...the handwriting looks strangely similar to Jerry's handwriting, ...hm, but oh well. The question is: What is growing in your garden this year? Let's ask Jerry...

Thank you to the excellent, beary excellent question from that super smart fan of the show! Well you see that we have lots of maryGolds, and a new deep red color maryGold this year.

And the alliums are looking good, don't you think?

And I have to mention the strawberries that are growing in Ben's herb garden. Can you show our viewers the strawberries Ben? Ben will make homemade strawberry ice cream with them. I can't wait!

And of course our gnome friend Giovani is back this summer; but he's moved to a more comfortable one-story hobbit-like townhouse in Ben's herb garden...

The one-story living space will be better for him as he's now a bit older now; he won't have to climb stairs or ladders anymore. Giovani's cousin, Herbert, has moved into the larger main-garden house...

Herbert seems to really like his new home. We'll check back to see how he's doing in a future episode.

Well blog readers, we hope you enjoyed a first glimpse of our summer garden, and thank you for watching Jerry's Corner. Thanks to all of our regular viewers! Thiz is your guest host Ben, gardener Jerry, and today's guest Boo who is on special Bee assignment, bidding you all Happy Gardening!
