We have a beary special guest for today's show. Can you guess who it is?
Yes, that's right, it's our good pal Sandy! He is visiting us for a little while on his way back to Canada. "Welcome to the show Sandy" says Jerry, "we're sooo glad to hav yoU here!"
"Thank you so much" says Sandy, "I'm beary happy to be here on your show!" Jerry continues, "Well Sandy, I'm sure our regular viewers are wondering what you've been up to since you first arrived. Tell everyone about some of the fun theengs we've been doing." "Well" replys Sandy, "yesterday, if was raining and the skies were cloudy, so after a beary nice breakfast (Ben's pancakes!) Jerry and Ben took me to the Mall of America."
"I heard that it was a big mall, but it is a BEARY big mall--there is an indoor amusement park!" explains Sandy. "We got to go on a horsey ride! Then we looked around at some of the fun shops, such as this HUGE Lego store!"
"It sure was a fun day at the big mall in Minnesoooooota" Sandy giggles.
"It waz a fun day for sure" adds Jerry. "Today is a beary nize day. Tell our viewers what we did after breakfast."
"Well, today, for breakfast, we have yogurt with berries and granola, drizzled with honey!" says Sandy. Jerry adds, "Yes, that waz yummmiee...hm, I wonder when lunch is?" Sandy continues "and after that, Jerry and Ben took me to the sculpture garden to see the big spoon and cherry!"
"Then" continues Sandy, "I got to have my photo taken in front of the Mary Tyler Moore house."
"Yes," adds Jerry, "for those viewers who don't know, the Mary Tyler Moore Show waz a hit television series in the US in the 1970s." "Yeah" giggles Ben, "way back in the Middul Ages!" Jerry laughs, then continues "This big house waz where Mary waz supposed to live, way up in the top apartment...can you see it?"
"Then we took a nice hike around some of the lakes" continues Sandy. "Yes" Jerry adds, "Minnesota has over 10,000 lakes, and several nice lakes are right in the Twin Cities, and stufifes can walk or bike around them."
"You can see Minneapolis in back of Lake Calhoun, and if you look closely," says Jerry, "you'll see something else that flew right into our photo, right above Sandy's head...can you see it?" "A BEE" says Ben, "that sure must BEE a sign of good luck because Sandy is here!!" "Well" says Sandy, "it was a fun hike and a perfect day!"
"It sure waz" say Ben. "Well, my stomach is starting to rumble, so I think itz time for lunch! I want to thank my beary spezial guest Sandy!"
"We sure will" says Jerry. "Thanks to all of our regular viewers! Thiz is Jerry, spezial guest Sandy, and camera-bear Ben, signing off! Keep those qwestions coming!"

***Sandy's Mama*** - What a great episode! It looks like Sandy had a great tour. I didn't know Mary Tyler Moore lived there. Go figure. It sure does look nice and green there. Sandy, I hope you're helping Jerry in the garden.
ReplyDeleteWe're having a beary good time!
DeleteWhat a great time you guys had! Minnesota looks like a great place to live. xxx
ReplyDeleteWe're lucky that Sandy could visit!
DeleteSounds like you are having a blast together!
ReplyDeleteWe are having a very nice time...now, if it would only stop raining!
DeleteThe sculpture garden looks really cool. I like the addition of flags to the set of Jerry's corner, it really adds an air of sophistication to the set.
ReplyDeleteWe thought the Canadian flag would make Sandy feel at home.
DeleteHello Jerry, Ben and Sandy
ReplyDeleteHere's a fewquick questions from an ignorant British bear. Are Canadianbears the same species as American ones? Do they have to carry passports if they live near the boarder in case they blunder over by mistake? And do they have any communication difficulties?
Thank you!
