Gnome Update & Mail

We recently received TWO great postcards!

The first is from our pal Ajdin who was tagging along with the seKretary who was on a business trip in Columbus, Ohio. The second was from out pal Little Fox who got to take a trip to San Francisco and visit the Ghirandelli chocolate shop! Thanks guys!

We also wanted to give you a gnome update. As our regular readers know, we had a contest and vote to name our new neighbor, a little gnome who moved into our garden.

The selected the most was suggested by Little Fox: Giovani.

Well, tiny Giovani has been BEARY busy. He's been harvesting some purple flowers to sell at the gnome farmers' market.

And he obviously takes a coffee break from time to time. As you may have also noticed, Giovani has finished constructing a stone path to his front door. The path branches out and leads through the garden...

and arrives at his bee hive.

Jerry is very pleased that Giovani has decided to provide a nice house for BEESZ! Do you have any bees in your garden?

  1. That's a beautiful cottage garden you have there Giovani! Those purple flowers are rather special. We have lots of bumble bees visit our garden because we grow special 'bee attracting flowers' but we don't have any hives.

  2. Giovani is soooo cute! We had tonnes of bees in our garden this year - but haven't found the beehive yet... or at least no stone pathways leading to the pot of honey.

  3. I am glad Gionvani is settling in. I must admit he is a hard worker, maybe he could come to my house and help us work on our garden?
