Happy Birthday Ben! (plus update!)

Today is Ben's Bearthday!

Ben turned another year old today! Well...that is another human year old, because little bear years are beary different from human years. Ben says he is three years old, so we'll have to go with that. He put on his shirt and tie today in order to look nice and to celebrate his special day.

Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Jerry has been busy creating something. We hear pans banging and eggs cracking, but it's not quite clear what Jerry is doing. "Me maKeeng sumtheeng speshsul for Ben" he says, but then he tells everyone to get out of the kitchen.

Do you know what Jerry might be up to? When do you celebrate your Birthday (or Bearthday)?

UPDATE...
After a great deal of hard work in the kitchen, and a little flour on his fur, Jerry finished working on his big culinary surprise...

A beary yummy carrot cake! "I hope Ben likez it" adds Jerry. "I had a litle help with the fruzteeng" he confesses.

"Yummeee! That kake lookz amazeeng Jerry, thank you!" says Ben. Time to get the forks and share this yummy treat! What kind of cake do you like for your birthday?

  1. Happy Birthday Ben!

Jerry, be careful not to drowned in that cake batter looking for that piece of eggshell. A little extra fiber never hurt anybody.

  8. @ Sandy, Well there is our blog pal Rabbit on Tour, but he lives really far away...Ben suspects it was a little bear, one who likes sweets, and we both know exactly who that is!
